Classrooms & Students
In short: keep your students in one roster, group them into classrooms, and assign a quiz to a whole class in one click. Students join with a link — no account setup on your side.
Your student roster
Everyone you teach lives in your roster at Students. Each entry is one student (name + email); adding the same email again reuses the existing one instead of creating a duplicate.
- Add Student — enter a name and email.
- Import CSV — bring in a whole list at once.
- Open a student to see their exams, scores, and notes over time.
Classrooms
A classroom is a named group of students — "Year 2 Tuesday", "JLPT N4 evening". Create one under Classrooms → New Classroom, add students, and you can then assign quizzes to the entire class instead of one by one.
From any quiz, Send to Classroom hands that quiz to every student in the class and collects their results together.
How students join
You don't create accounts for students — they come to you:
- Invite link — each classroom has a Generate invite link button giving a
/join/<token>URL. Share it (or its QR code); students open it and join that class. No login required. - Join requests — on your profile page you can turn on "Allow students to request enrollment." Students click Become this teacher's student, and you approve or reject them under Join Requests.
Plan limits
Every plan includes a roster and classrooms; higher plans raise how many students and classes you can have. If you hit a limit, Quizzz tells you and points to an upgrade (large cohorts: [email protected]).
Next
- Hand a class its first quiz → Exam Modes (Class Exam pairs naturally with classrooms).
