Custom Domain & Branding

In short: make Quizzz look like you. Set your brand colours, logo and favicon, and — on Pro — serve your profile and exam pages from your own domain instead of a quizzz.techtranslab.com link.

Branding

Under Profile, the Appearance settings let you set your brand colour (and accent) — it flows through your public profile, exam pages, and share cards, kept separate from Quizzz's own theme.

In the Domain & SEO tab you also set your logo, favicon, and SEO title / description for how your pages look when shared or found in search.

Logo, favicon & SEO need a custom domain

Brand colours work everywhere. But a custom logo, favicon, and SEO settings only take full effect once you're serving from your own domain (below) — on a shared quizzz.techtranslab.com address their effect is limited.

Custom domain (Pro)

On the Pro plan you can connect a domain you own — e.g. quiz.your-school.com — so your students never see a Quizzz URL.

1. Open Quizzz ↗ → Profile → Domain & SEO.
2. Click Add Domain and enter your hostname.
3. Add the TXT and CNAME records it shows to your DNS. Quizzz re-checks automatically every 15 seconds.
4. When it flips to Verified, click Set as Primary.

What your domain serves

A verified domain fronts your public Quizzz pages — your profile / landing page and your student-facing exam and class pages. Your own admin dashboard still lives on the main Quizzz app host (links there redirect back automatically), so only the parts students see wear your domain.

For developers

Branding is also settable over the REST API — GET / PUT /api/v1/branding (site name, logo, hero + SEO text, primary colour). See the Branding API.
